Key Club and Leadership have joined forces with the Army National Guard: Guard Against Hunger Program to run a holiday food drive. From Nov. 8 - Dec 3, bring in as many non-perishable food items and personal care items as possible, and donate them in your first-period class. Our school-wide goal is 3000 items. The first-period class that has the highest average item count per student will win a donut party sponsored by the National Guard! All donations will go to Bridge 58, which is a local food bank that feeds around 80 families a week, mostly in Cheney and the surrounding areas

While ALL donations will be greatly appreciated, Bridge 58 would love to receive items like:

  • Dry cereal
  • Granola bars
  • Crackers
  • Fruit snacks
  • Mac and cheese
  • Hamburger helper type boxed meals
  • Taco seasoning packets
  • Taco shells
  • Canned chili
  • Canned soups
  • Candy
  • Packaged desserts
  • Chips, and any other snack-type foods
Personal care items are ALWAYS in high demand as many cannot be bought with food stamps. These always make people feel very cared about:
